Esthetician/Laser Technician

Job Title: Esthetician/Laser Technician 

Location: 1212 Wildwood Ave. Suite B Jackson, MI 49202

If you are dedicated to providing top-quality skincare treatments, have an eye for detail, and thrive in a high-energy environment, we want to hear from you!  

We are looking for an experienced Medical Esthetician with a minimum of 2 years of experience for this roll. Certification in hydrafacial, microneedling, dermaplaning and lasers required. Product Knowledge of ZO skin health and Jan Marini would be helpful.

Responsibilities:  

Treatments: Perform a variety of esthetic procedures, including Laser treatments, microneedling, hydrafacials, dermaplaning , chemical peels, waxing and other skincare treatments, tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.  

Laser Treatments: Perform esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in laser aesthetics.  

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest skincare products and treatments. Educate clients about proper skincare routines and recommend suitable products to enhance their overall experience. 

Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs and concerns. Customize treatments and provide expert recommendations for maintaining healthy skin. 

High Standards: Uphold the spa’s reputation for excellence by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professionalism. Ensure that treatment rooms and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained at all times. 

Sales and Upselling: Promote skincare products and upsell services to enhance the client experience and contribute to the spa’s revenue goals. 

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients. Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns professionally, and ensure client satisfaction. 

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other spa professionals, such as massage therapists, to create a seamless and integrated spa experience for clients.  

Qualifications: 

Esthetics License: Valid esthetics license in Michigan. Certifications in microneedling, hydrafacials, dermaplaning and lasers.  

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Esthetician, preferably in a high-end medspa. 

Product Knowledge: Proficiency in skincare products, treatments, and industry trends. ZO skin health and Jan Marini knowledge would be ideal.  

Customer Focus: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. 

Professionalism: Impeccable grooming and presentation. Punctuality and reliability are essential. 

Sales Skills: Strong sales and upselling abilities with a focus on enhancing the client experience.  

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Assistant Office Manager

We are currently seeking a full time highly motivated and experienced Assistant Office Manager to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our spa.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership-Manage and lead a team of aestheticians, massage therapists and support staff. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
Client Relations-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Client Resolution: Resolve conflicts among employees and clients professionally and tactfully.
Operational Excellence– Oversee daily spa operations, including employee scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance of spa equipment. Ensure that the spa is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Quality Control– Ensure that all services provided, and service providers meet the spa’s high-quality standards. Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback as necessary. Conduct one-one performance meetings with staff. Create goals and incentives.
Budget Management-Manage the spa’s budget effectively, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability. Monitor financial reports, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Supervise Front Desk Operations: Monitor daily activities at the front desk, ensuring receptionists are providing excellent customer service, managing appointments efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Create weekly and monthly goals then follow up with performance meetings to get proper feedback from the front team.
Receptionist: Perform receptionists’ duties and be proficient with the front desk operations. Regularly working at the front desk to ensure an effective client experience.
Compliance-Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and spa policies and procedures.
Training and Development-Stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for spa staff to enhance their skills and expertise.
Onboarding: Onboard and train new employees
Networking: Attending Networking events and trade shows
Marketing: Effective with marketing, creating emails , producing fresh and new ideas to bring in new clients. 
Social Media: Proficiant with social media, capcut and talking on stories. 
Qualifications: 
-Proven experience as an office Manager or similar role in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
-Strong leadership and communication skills.
-Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
-Knowledge of trends, techniques, and products keeping an eye out for potential changes in your market, but also spotting opportunities where your business can grow.
-Proficient in spa management software and basic computer applications.
-Business awareness and budget management skills.
-The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent leadership skills, problem solving skills and a proven track record in spa management.

Front Desk Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our spa.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings efficiently, coordinating with service providers to optimize schedules and accommodate client requests. 

Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction. 

Payment Processing: Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, issue receipts, and maintain a balanced cash register. 

Spa Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and beyond, ensuring it reflects the high-end image of the spa. Maintain laundry and keep rooms stocked.  

Product/Service Knowledge: Stay informed about spa services, products and promotions to effectively promote and upsell to clients. 

Administrative Tasks: Assist in various administrative tasks, such as maintaining client records, inventory management, and ordering supplies when necessary. 

Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phones, managing walk-ins, and supporting spa staff as needed. 

Assist Manager: Assist Manager with tasks such as posting job openings, producing fresh ideas on how to run the front desk effectively. 

Social Media: Assisting with our social media page, answering questions, creating posts and stories, must be comfortable talking on our stories.  

Requirements:  

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-end spa. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. 
  • Proficiency in using spa management software and basic computer skills. 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Experience in high-end sales 
  • Valid driver license and vehicle to run errands. 
  • Experience in social media and cap cut 
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications ($17-$18- per hour)
